First off, you don't play one huge game - instead, Knytt Stories is actually a collection of weird, beautifully atmospheric short games. Each level is its own little adventure. One level is included with the game, where you have to stop a machine that draws the life out of the planet. Expansion packs are periodically released which contain new adventures.
